What to expect at kitespot Porto Pollo?

Located in the North of the Italian island Sardinia, on a 50-minute drive from Olbia Airport (OLB), you’ll find the Porto Pollo kitesurf spot with its sandy beach with choppy water.

Wind

In summer the wind is mainly offshore, therefore it’s an advanced spot. However, in spring and autumn, the wind will be blowing onshore. In other words: it’s a safe spot to ride on for any level.

The other side of the bay, Porto Liscia, is more suited for kitesurfing during summer because of the cross onshore wind. Remember to always add a few knots for thermic to the daily forecast.

Kite sizes

Most used kite sizes are 7-12m depending on your weight.
